Corporate manslaughter proposal announced in Queen's speech
Article Abstract:
The Government is to publish a draft bill on corporate manslaughter in accordance to the Queens speech on 23rd November 2004, which will make life more difficult for employers who show scant regard for the health and safety of their employees. This will ensure that no company in future will take the risk of not including health and safety into the job lot of every employee, and appointing a director with responsibility in this area.
