The industry federation along with the employer organizations and the labor unions signed a new two-year EGSSE national collective agreement. The prominent points in the agreement like pay rises, minimum wages and inflation factors are discussed. The 39-hour working week proposal is to be discussed after the Olympic games.

Working conditions in the Horeca sector
Article Abstract:
The hotels, restaurants and cafes (Horeca) industry is one of Greece's most important economic sectors. The workers in this sector are divided into two categories based on their coverage by collectively agreed terms. The views of trade unions and employers on flexible working time are discussed.
