Article Abstract:
The decision of Employment Appeals Tribunal in Cross v. British Airways plc is discussed. The decision is important because it is the first UK discrimination decision wherein avoidance of expense of changing a provision, criterion or practice has been accepted as a defense to indirect discrimination.
