International HRM: national business systems, organizational politics and the international division of labour in MNCs

Empirical studies that explain the manner in which principles of globalization are brought in conformity with local requirements are reviewed and their weaknesses examined. Linkages between organizational politics of MNCs, international division of labour, and institutional divides between nations is an important area to focus upon.

Labour turnover and management retention strategies in new manufacturing plants
Article Abstract:
Labour turnover and employers' retention strategies in transnational corporations (TNCs), basically Japanese, who have started multinational manufacturing companies in a new town-Telford, in the UK, is analyzed. The findings revealed that these companies were all non-union and low-waged with a large turnover of employees.

The effect of international staffing practices on subsidiary staff retention in multinational corporations
