A new study by Watson Wyatt Worldwide observes that despite interest in the total outsourcing of corporate functions, very few companies completely outsource their employee benefits administration. Further, most companies use a combination of internal and external resources to administer their retirement and health-care plans and are satisfied with the results.

A survey by Mercer Human Resource Consulting reveals that for overall quality of life, Zurich and Geneva are the world's top - scoring cities. The survey that covers 215 cities takes New York as the base city with a rating of 100 and results are based on 39-quality-of-life criteria.
