Occupational hygiene
Article Abstract:
Training in occupational hygiene in the UK can lead to qualifications from the British Examining Board in Occupational Hygiene (BEBOH). The general principle is that studying occupational hygiene can help prevent disease and injury arising from exposure to agents at work such as toxic chemicals. There are preliminary certificates which can be used to gain knowledge of particular areas related to work. There are also certificates in occupational hygiene and a diploma in occupational hygiene.
