Personnel salaries correspond to jobs and experience
Article Abstract:
Salaries in personnel range from less than $15,000 to more than $250,000 per year. Factors that affect personnel professionals' salaries include type of industry, size of firm, personal experience and education, and geographic location. The highest paid personnel professionals work for producers of petroleum and related products; machinery and heavy equipment; chemical, pharmaceutical, plastic, and rubber products; metal and minerals; and in construction and engineering firms. Lowest on the list are health-related, financial, and educational institutions. Incomes are higher in the well-known, large US cities. They are also higher for individuals with advanced degrees and many years of experience.
