Article Abstract:
Human resource strategic planning programs can be valuable additions to compensation packages. They enable organizations to formulate strategic plans that consider short- and long-term incentives, growth opportunities, base pay and benefits. However, few organizations implement such plans due to factors such as the absence of a standard human resource strategic planning model, the expenses required for such plans and the inability to measure specific jobs that have strategic organizational importance.
