Intelligent quotient (IQ) and Emotional quotient (EQ) elements have an impact on a personEs career in any organization. Precautions are to be taken by the HR department to select an apt job applicant having potential for outstanding performance through out their career. HR selection practices must focus on both IQ and EQ in the hiring process, in order to create high-performing workforce.
