Article Abstract:
The necessity of employers to be clear about their policies related to blogs and the rights of their workers who want to start their own blog are discussed. Some steps employers need to take in this regard are ensuring that existing company policies specifically identify blogs, making employees understand what is allowed and what is prohibited, and taking legal counsel before initiating any disciplinary or legal action on an employee based on the content of his/her blog.
