The international business traveller: a neglected but strategic human resource

With reference to a study on Australian and Danish international business travelers (IBTs), the significance of IBTs for a firm as a potential resource of transferring knowledge, information and skills is discussed. The need for recognizing and managing this important human resource is emphasized.

Human resource management in Spain: is it possible to speak of a typical model?
Article Abstract:
The empirical study analyzes 130 industrial companies in Spain for the human resource management model adopted by them. The study reveals that three models generally practiced and they are different in their strategic approach but have some universal characteristics.
