ASPs are coming ASAP; web-based office applications are taking aim at the solo and small-firm market
Article Abstract:
Issues regarding application service providers (ASPs) are discussed, which let users rent software from a Web site instead of having to buy and maintain it on their own servers or hard drives. Most ASPs link users with a simple Internet connection and target smaller law firms unable to afford complex computer systems.
