BNA 706 Preparer for Windows speeds automated preparation of estate tax returns
Article Abstract:
BNA Software, Tax Management's BNA 706 Preparer v 96.2 is a significant new computer program to aid in preparation of the federal estate tax return, Form 706. In addition to that form, the program includes forms 706CE, 712, 2848, and 4768, schedules Q, R, and S, and Worksheet TG. It can calculate estate and inheritance tax for all 50 states as well as the federal return. However, it cannot compute GRATs' and CRUTs' taxable value at date of death, or the deductible amount for trusts created during the decedent's lifetime.
