Principles discussed in the book 'Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies' by James C. Collins and Jerry I. Porras can be extended to show that the most successful companies link stakeholders to them through corporate social performance. Visionary companies create and share core ideologies that remain relatively unchanged for long periods.
