Calculating the value of design; winning projects show firms' commitment
Article Abstract:
Photographs of the offices of winners of the 1992 ABA Journal Law Office Design Competition are presented. 176 firms submitted entries this year, 66 more than last year. There was a pleasing geographic diversity in winners. The categories included large firm, small firm, small firm with cost-design consultants, reception area, and adaptive re-use, restoration, or historic preservation. Although the judges were to limit the winners to one per category, in the large firm category two winners were chosen.
