The concepts of law, corporate governance, and the structure of financial markets, development models and culture are investigated in the context of Asian markets and the correlation between law, culture and development of financial sector are described. The financial system act as a tool by which both the private and public firms distribute risks, and the institutions chosen transform the outlook and assessment of risk and influence the corporate and public culture.

Public procurement system of Turkey towards full membership of the European Union

Article Abstract:

The public procurement reform process in Turkey initiated by the enlargement process of the European Union (EU) is discussed. As per the European Communities (EC) procurement directives, Turkey should formulate a comprehensive and extensive public procurement system and prepare a national strategy, which strengthen the legal, institutional and methodological framework of the Turkish procurement system.
