Creating standout footnotes
Article Abstract:
Altering the format of footnote numbers in WordPerfect 6.x for DOS and Windows documents creates more effective and easy-to-use footnotes. To change the footnote number format in WordPerfect 6.x for DOS documents users edit the two footnote Styles, Footnote and Ftn#inDoc. To alter the Footnote style, users choose Notes and then select Footnote and Edit Style in Note. Programmers then select Footnote and Edit Style at the Notes dialog in Document. The cursor bar is then moved to the Footnote style and Copy is selected. Either Personal Library or Shared Library and OK are then selected. The copy process for the Ftn#inDoc style requires repeating this copy process. These identical footnote styles must also be modified in WordPerfect 6.x for Windows. To alter these footnote styles, Insert and Footnote options displaying the Footnote Options dialog are selected. The two options in the Edit Numbering Style group are Text and In Note. In Note is chosen to display the Styles Editor dialog.
