Competitive advantage and the regulation of dominant firms
Article Abstract:
The U.S. and EU approaches to assess market power and its potential abuse by contrasting business and regulatory views on competitive advantage with a non-technical sketch is presented. It is felt that effectively shifting the burden of proof to firms that are dominant can economize on the overall enforcement costs and help in self-regulation.

The dangers of overregulation in the electronic communications sector
Article Abstract:
Asymmetric or over-regulation of the electronics communications sector could adversely affect the telecom market's new initiatives to maintain, enlarge or modernize network. Inappropriately designed regulation can hamper effective competition resulting in considerable welfare losses.
