Expert on expert; better than textbook advice, the real-life advice of top litigators provides winning strategies for using (and maybe slightly abusing) expert witnesses at trial
Article Abstract:
A lawyer's handling of an expert witness in a tort case has grown in importance, and four Chicago lawyers with extensive experience in the area give their suggestions. They are James D Montgomery, Patricia C Bobb, Robert A Clifford, and Miles J Zaremski, and all but Zaremski are plaintiffs lawyers. Topics covered include choosing, preparing and paying the expert and the ethics of using experts.
