FTC, states still trying to fry spam: spammers remain one step ahead of the law

The efforts of Federal Trade Commission and state governments to fight spam such as revising CAN-SPAM and supplementing it with state specific anti-spam laws are discussed. It is emphasized that thus far spammers are winning the anti-spam battle.
