Terms of embitterment. (Pres. Bill Clinton an example of how lawyers are too cute with language)
Article Abstract:
Pres Bill Clinton's use of language in his public statements on the Monica Lewinsky crisis has confirmed public suspicions that lawyers tend to push the truth with words. Clinton's lawyers have tried to foreclose the possibilities of indictment, but have in so doing been urged by congressional leaders and the public to tell the truth and move on. To get away from the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal, discovery is one area of litigation in which honesty has increased, and it is the one area in which lawyers are the most often accused of deceit.
