Fetal protection: law, ethics and corporate policy
Article Abstract:
The ethical and legal aspects of corporate policies on fetal protection were analyzed. In the last 10 to 15 years, corporate employers have implemented rules which disallow women who are capable of becoming pregnant from taking jobs which expose them to hazardous substances. Such rules have generated controversy because of their potential to be used in discriminatory acts against women by putting them in lower-paying jobs on the pretext of fetal protection. The Supreme Court decision on a case involving the fetal protection policy of Johnson Controls Inc was analyzed.

Corporate codes of ethics and sales force behavior: a case study
Article Abstract:
A case study of the southwest region sales force of an office equipment corporation determined the effects of a corporate code of ethics on sales force behavior. The results provide evidence that a corporate code of ethics which is well-communicated is correlated to ethical sales force behavior. Based on the study results, it was predicted that a sales force in such a setting would have better job performance and would derive greater satisfaction from their jobs. Suggestions for marketing practitioners were given.

Beyond sexual harassment
Article Abstract:
This article addresses consensual sex and non-sexual harassment in a work environment. According to the author both issues have been largely ignored, though they are just as common, if not more so, than sexual harassment at the workplace. Moral and ethical aspects involving all three incidents are explored, in which the author argues any form of harassment is harmful, and consensual sex can be damaging.
