Article Abstract:
The ABA Resource Team for High Profile Trials offers assistance and advice to attorneys involved in cases with substantial media interest. The Team does not provide substantive or strategic advice but does offer resources on media management, security issues, and pretrial and trial issues influenced by media coverage. The Team was formed in 1995 because of the influence that high-profile trials can have on public perceptions of the legal profession and the legal system.
