Main Street, U.S.A. An inside look at small town law
Article Abstract:
An account of small-town law practice is given using the example of Princeton, IL. The slower pace of life in small towns and the fact that everyone knows everyone else affect the practice of law as well. Small town lawyers may have to practice in different areas of the law and conflicts of interest can be difficult to avoid. Lawyers who cannot specialize find it doubly difficult to stay abreast of legal changes.

Looking for the goodpartner
Article Abstract:
Law partnerships need to find a compatible person to work with them, rather like marriages. Comparable problems of money worries, how to divide attention among other members and time conflicts arise in marriages and law firms. Compatible legal partners also should have the ability to see the big picture and not get bogged down in details, many partners agree.
