Article Abstract:
Rucker v. Davis, a 9th Circuit reversal of the eviction of a law-abiding public housing tenant for the drug activity of family members outside their apartments, is discussed. The Fair Housing Act was held not to authorize the evictions of tenants for third parties' wrongdoing without some showing of individual guilt.
