Article Abstract:
The ABA Law Student Division, whose offerings to law students include career information, products, publications, and networking opportunities, dates back to 1968 and provides a forum for law students to advocate and exchange views. Membership stands at more than 51,000 and has increased by 19,000 members in the past four years. The division provides law students numerous opportunities to engage in pro bono work as it emphasizes public service and professionalism

Article Abstract:
Some of the ABA programs offering help to survivors and families of the World Trade Center and Pentagon Attacks of 2001 are described. Other Sept 11-connected help includes the ABA Task Force on Terrorism and the Law, which has helped Congress draft anti-terrorism draft anti-terrorism legislation.
