Professor Stefan Albrecht Riesenfeld: a tribute
Article Abstract:
A tribute is presented in the California Law Review (p. 778-826) to Professor Stefan Albrecht Riesenfeld who died on Feb. 17, 1999. The tribute includes two reprinted articles introduced by Professor Richard M. Buxbaum. Professor Riesenfeld's long and illustrious career included involvement and influence in matters of international law and relations as well as his nearly 50 year teaching career at Boalt Hall at the University of California, Berkeley, and, also, at Hastings School of Law. His combination of firmness and wit made him a popular and memorable professor.
