Roundtable conference with enforcement officials
Article Abstract:
Heads of various antitrust enforcement agencies met with practitioners to discuss recent developments central to the enforcement efforts and priorities at the Antitrust Division, Federal Trade Commission and Multistate Antitrust Task Force. Mergers continue to be a large component of the workload at these agencies. The topics included the 1997 Efficiency Guideline Supplements to the Merger Guidelines, recent increases in international enforcement of US antitrust laws and maximum resale price maintenance cases.
