Pamela B Strobel, the senior vice pres and general counsel of Commonwealth Edison, a subsidiary of Chicago's Unicom Corp and producer, distributor and seller of electricity to wholesale and retail customers serving 70% of the state's population, heads a department of 29 lawyers divided into four general areas of practice. The sections are a litigation group, a corporate and commercial group, a regulatory group and a labor and employment group. Within an area is an employee benefits and a real estate lawyer.
