The Groundwater Daughter Directive: A UK perspective
Article Abstract:
The new Groundwater Daughter Directive from a U.K. perspective is analyzed to explain its implications for U.K. and the progress to date. Some of the issues are pollution of groundwater, deterioration of groundwater, the relationship between the Groundwater Daughter Directive and the Water Framework Directive.

The European Union appeal against the World Trade Organization's Panel ruling in the Brazil Tyres case is presented. The Panel's reasoning on regulatory autonomy on advanced waste management as evident in its ruling is discussed.
