BBC courts teens with multiplatform Switch

BBC unveiled a new brand called BBC Switch, which consists of television, radio and web content targeting teenagers aged 12 to 16. The key parts of BBC Switch include "Sound", a music show hosted by Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac and Nick Grimshow, and Canadian teen drama "Falcon Beach". Other programs, such as the online drama "Signs of Life", and the plans of BBC Switch, are presented.

BBC slides back on ethnic targets in past three years
Article Abstract:
The BBC has committed to solve the issue of having fewer black and minority ethnic (BME) staff on its senior management team than it did in 2004. Former director general Greg Dyke in 2004 had set voluntary targets, but the BBC failed two out the three goals. The BBC's corporate diversity statistics and programs are discussed.
