BBC plans deep cuts to flagship factual shows

The British Broadcasting Corp. plans to have major cuts on its flagship factual shows, including Storyville, The Culture Show, One Life, Imagine, Horizon, and Timewatch, the proposal being that either each show will have its budget cut by 20% (Storyville's cut is rumored to be 50%) or it will drop an episode from its run. Sources say that workforce from the factual genre will also be reduced by as much as 50%, although a BBC spokesperson said that they cannot comment on individual programs and that everything is still under review.
