BBC returns to dinosaur world
Article Abstract:
A landmark CGI series titled The Truth About Killer Dinosaurs with Bill Oddie as frontman is being planned as a co-production between BBC, which is putting up 33% of the budget, Discovery, BBC Worldwide and ZDF. The new series will try to solve the riddles about the prehistoric animals, such as the strength of the Tyrannosaurus bite, and will be different from the earlier series Walking with Dinosaurs.

The BBC has conducted a review of its commercial arm BBC Worldwide, but few details were released to the public and the issue of sub-licensing programs was not mentioned. BBC Worldwide hopes to complete more venture deals to increase revenue and give 200 million pounds sterling back to the BBC by 2006.

Redmond plans to sell off Mersey TV
Article Abstract:
Redmond the creator of Brookside is selling Mersey TV after Brookside went off air a month ago. He is hoping for a management buy out or sale to a venture capitalist. Redmond is yet to decide his future plans.
