BBC's unfinished business

Christopher Bland's decision to accept a position at British Telecommunications PLC before completing unfinished business at the BBC makes it seem like he can't finish what he has began. However it is his passion to be challenged and the hefty salary attached that probably led him to his decision. While at the BBC, Bland was committed, effective and an advocate of public service.

Sir Christopher Buchan Bland, BBC chairman, is due to leave the company in September, leaving Greg Dyke, director general of BBC alone, and breaking their history of running LWT together. Bland and Dyke worked as a duo at LTW for a number of years, helping many executives, as well as themselves, achieve millionaire status.
