Bazal strips with the pride
Article Abstract:
Bazal Productions has developed a particular kind of television production technique which it calls stripped reality. Their latest production of this genre, 'Lion Country', will appear on British television screens in 1998. The production team films real-life stories and combines these with factual information. The directors film in bulk and employ special production techniques to keep costs low. 'Lion Country' is about the animal and human inhabitants of the Longleat Estate and nearby village. It will have 55 parts and each half-hour programme will cost only 20,000 pounds sterling.
