BBC Radio 2's weekly audience of 10.7 million listeners have made it the UK's most popular radio station. Because it has adapted to changing tastes in music, R2 has been able to draw in younger listeners as well as retain its more mature audience.

BBC touched its all time low of 21% of their 25% quota. BBC blames it on Endenol which was not included. It would be mandatory for all broadcasters to meet the target or they will be fined.

BBC Radio 4 (R4) has become the most popular radio station in the United Kingdom, bypassing BBC Radio 2. R4 led all radio stations with 17.9 million listeners under the Gfk Media figures.
