Bolin to lead IABM as group's influence grows

Rick Bolin in April 2008 will become chief executive of the International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers (IABM), and will be in charged to aid manage the relationship between broadcast technology suppliers and their customers. IABM's targets and growth, and Bolin's background, plans and future duties, are discussed.

Private equity to fund BDA growth
Article Abstract:
Private equity firm Octopus has acquired a 33% stake at broadcast design and promotions agency BDA for 5 million pounds sterling. The company is also investing 2 million pounds sterling to help BDA open facilities in Mumbai, China, Moscow and Johannesburg. An overview of BDA's operations and growth plans is also given.
