Cramer versus Cramer
Article Abstract:
Chris Cramer has been head of the BBC's newsgathering since 1991. The 47-year-old head of News and Current Affairs began work as a journalist with the Portsmouth News Group and progressed to being a BBC regional journalist with Radio Solent. He is a favourite in the race to manage the launch of the BBC's British-based news service if it should ever take place, although this is not expected in the short-term. His ambition is to wipe-out news rivals ITV and Sky News.
