Langlois hails Avid deal
Article Abstract:
Softimage founder Daniel Langlois has hailed the imminent purchase of Softimage by Avid Technology, saying that the merger will double the revenue of two firms. Langlois, however, refused to say exactly when revenues will increase two-fold stating only that he projects a two-fold growth overtime. Langlois verified that while he expects little reforms in the two firms upper-level management, the consolidation between Softimage and Avid will result in a number of changes in the sales and marketing departments.
