Discovery commissions BBC religion to create Moses doc
Article Abstract:
Discovery Channel US has asked BBC religion to make a 60-minute documentary about Moses, the first Discovery commission for the BBC in-house unit since the formation of the BBC/Discovery joint-venture in March 1998. The documentary aims to provide historical proof about the stories connected with the Jewish leader, including the exodus and the plagues. The documentary, entitled "Moses: The Men Behind the Myth," is expected to be released by Discovery Channel just before Christmas, in time with the introduction of an animated feature film about Moses from DreamWorks.
