Parent company, Granada, plans to merge the drama departments of United Productions and LWT, and Buck may receive the management position.

Peter Cregeen has agreed to become the executive producer of the ailing "Trafalgar Road" teen soap opera from United Productions, which is scheduled to appear on ITV. Cregeen has been in the broadcasting business for nearly 40 years, including work at BBC.
