Five and PBS to make D-Day doc

Windfall Films has planned to produce a doc-drama for Five, which focuses on the ingenious machinery of war used in the D-Day landings. It would examine cutting-edge vehicles such as multipurpose tanks, armoured gliders and flat-bottomed landing craft, as well as the maverick inventors who designed them.
