Mentorn's Hayling takes BBC doc role

The BBC has appointed Alan Hayling as its first head of documentaries for three years. Indie Mentorn's director of development, Alan Hayling is to report to controller of documentaries and contemporary factual Anne Morrison and would be responsible for documentaries in London and working closely with production centers in Birmingham and Bristol.
