Football finals kick-start boost to seasonal ratings
Article Abstract:
The classification of seasons on television based on television programs is discussed. Every season, an assessment of market share of the season's programs is done based on the audience it garners. Unlike normal seasons, there are only three recognizable seasons on television. BBC's FA Cup Final is closing the season for this year and will be followed by Liverpool's Champions League and Desperate Housewives.

Cutting It snips away at ITV1's peaktime share
Article Abstract:
The viewership status of primetime shows on three channels, ITV1, BBC1 and Channel 4 is compared. ITV1's show 'Fallen' reported a fall in viewership whereas BBC1's 'Cutting It' was rewarded by a presentable 6 million viewership and Channel 4's 'Ramsay Kitchen Nightmares' ensured that ITV1's primetime was badly scorched.
