'Male totty' joins C5 Family Affairs
Article Abstract:
Channel 5's "Family Affairs" consultant executive producer Brian Park revealed details about the new characters that will replace the drama's central family, the Harts. Park reported that a twenty-something "male totty factor," to be played by Terry Burns, will join the program. Other new characters include an Afro-Caribbean family who will be introduced after the eight Hart family members are written out of the show in late 1998 and early 1999. Park said the new characters are intended to rid the show of the extended family that is complicating its storylines.
