Hutton student and mentors honored by AFS and forest service
Article Abstract:
The American Fisheries Society and the USDA Forest Service at their annual Forest Service Rise to the Future Reception in Washington honored Hutton mentors Jim Walter and Jim Cline and their student Veronica Bullock on 23 June 2004. The Forest Service provided mentors and financial support since the program's inception in 2001.

The American Fisheries Society is considering a move from its headquarters in 5410 Grosvenor Lane, Bethesda, Maryland. The Society of American Foresters and the Renewable Natural Resources Foundation are negotiating with Nations Academy, a potential purchaser of the property the AFS headquarters stands on.
