The broadcast media is going through a low phase in 2004 by churning out work that is best described as `unsustainable', better forgotten. However at the Westminster Media Forum, the focus will be on media and the corporate social responsibility towards it.

The digital switchover is accelerating with some startling implications for programming. The viewing consensus of the last 10 years acknowledged that there is a huge upsurge in satellite channels, all with relatively low share of viewing.

Article Abstract:
It is a relief that Independent Television Commission is closing down. ITC caused a lot of commercial damage to broadcasting due to its regulations. Commercial TV should have regulations but ITC was more into meddling.
