Is TV killing the radio stars?
Article Abstract:
The scarcity of work in radio production is being further compromised for the independent radio companies by competition from television companies. Few commissions are available in the radio industry and radio producers may survive only through using their specialist expertise to produce specific programs. An advantage of the linkage between television and radio production is the accessibility of major stars who could be contracted by one production company to work in both mediums.
