Kemp thinks big with arts series

BBC's arts commissioner, Adam Kemp, is planning to launch an extravaganza of arts programs. The Impressionists is being made in-house for BBC1. It is based on lives of painters Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir and Cezanne. Marvels of the Modern Age will adorn BBC2 and it is also being made in-house. Oxford Film and Television will be making The Secret of Drawing for BBC2, which will be about history of sketches of artists from Hogarth to Goya.
