BBC head of television news Roger Mosey discusses the BBC's Hutton coverage, his aim being to show how harmful Lord Hutton was for this channel. On 'Question Time' Oliver Letwin won applause when he stated that the BBC had reported on itself with an astonishing degree of impartiality, a painful self-analysis, and no other broadcasting organization would have done that, showing the BBC's responsibility towards the public.

Radio controller Rob Shennan of the BBC Radio 5 Live shares the experiences he had with the station, and has gained a formidable reputation for its sport and news coverage. Since Shennan's arrival, audience figures have climbed from 5.5 million at the end of 2000, to 6.1 million at the end of 2003, a 4.4% share of all radio listeners.
